Paul has many years of experience developing curricula and training for language camps. He has an MA from the Monterey Institute of International Studies and a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction for Second Languages and Cultures from the University of Minnesota.
Nance is an educator with extensive administrative, leadership, and Spanish language experience, who is currently teaching Spanish at the Sayre School (Grades 9-12) in Lexington, Ky. She holds a Ph.D. in Spanish from the University of Kentucky.
Roberto is a Spanish teacher, coach, and dormitory parent at The Taft School (Ct.), who has a master’s degree in Spanish from Middlebury College and has worked for many summers for the Exploration Summer Programs at Wellesley College.
Grant is a 7th grade teacher in Robbinsdale (Mn.) Middle School’s Spanish immersion program and a former teacher at the bilingual El Colegio Charter School. He has lived in Spain and has extensive experience with language immersion camps.
Michael has taught at Lee University (Tenn.), Southern Catholic College (Ga.), and currently teaches at Norfolk State University (Va.). He has studied at Middlebury College and the Sorbonne in Paris, and throughout his 36-year teaching career (29 years in high school , 7 in college and university), has taught both French and Spanish.
"Frankie” Dunleavy is an award-winning foreign language teacher at Middlebury (Vt.) Union High School and graduate of the University of London, who has both taught and studied at the Middlebury Language Schools and also taught in France, Germany, and England.
Mark is world languages department chair at LaJolla (Ca.) Country Day School, with graduate degrees from the Middlebury College French School and Teachers College at Columbia University and 14 years of teaching experience in New York, France, and California.
Katherine, a native of Taiwan, is currently a Chinese teacher at Springfield (Ma.) High School of Science and Technology, as well as a Chinese instructor at Springfield Technical Community College and Trinity College (Hartford, Ct.). She has many years of teaching experience at the middle and high school levels.
Yunian is a foreign language teacher at West Potomac High School in Alexandria, Va., with master’s degrees in performing arts, mass communications, and special education. He has written and reviewed Chinese language materials, helped launch the Chinese language program for the Virtual Virginia State Advanced Placement School, and will complete his degree in school supervision and administration in summer 2008.
Lanting is currently the Chinese teacher at Bellarmine College Preparatory (San Jose, CA) and co-author of the textbook, “Huanying, An Invitation to Chinese.” She has extensive teaching experience from middle school through college level, including at the Monterey Institute of International Studies, Harvard University, and Kenyon College.
Britt is a graduate of Middlebury College, the Middlebury Language Schools (Arabic and Italian), and the American University in Cairo. She has taught Arabic to students from age 6 through high school.
Jean-Pierre is a native speaker of both French and Arabic, with a B.A. from the Université Saint-Joseph in Beirut, Lebanon, and an M.A. from the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris. He is currently a Senior Lecturer of French and Instructor of Arabic at Iowa State University and for many summers managed European tours for high school students.
