St. Michael's College, Colchester, Vermont

Located near Burlington, Vermont, and the fabulous Champlain Valley, St. Michael's College is an expansive residential college campus that combines the advantages of great athletic, dormitory, and social facilities on campus with easy access to nearby hiking, camping, and summer festivals. Enjoy the broad lawns and athletic facilities of the College, hike in nearby nature preserves, and take in the long days of summer in four languages. When more action is wanted, small groups will head to Latino cafes, Arabic language film and drama presentations, or a local French festival.

Menlo College, Atherton, California

In a thriving community near San Jose and San Francisco, Menlo College is a peaceful campus in Atherton that benefits from the diversity nearby. From its own Mandarin-, Spanish- and French-speaking college staff, to the outdoor pool, athletic fields and state-of-the-art theater, Menlo College is a self-contained summer camp setting that draws upon the rich cultural resources just outside its gates. (Arabic, Chinese, French, Spanish offered.)

MMLA and Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth (CTY) are partners offering the same language immersion camps as at St. Michael's and Menlo College, to students selected through CTY's Talent Search. Students for this program apply through CTY directly www.cty.jhu.edu.
