Admission

Admission to Middlebury-Monterey Language Academy summer camp is by on-line application. After an application is submitted, each applicant is asked to provide MMLA with contact information for a teacher who knows the applicant well. MMLA gets in touch directly with the teacher for a recommendation.

Student campers are notified of admission within two weeks after the teacher recommendation has been received. Spaces and financial aid are limited; early application is recommended.

2008 Tuition is $4,000 for four weeks and includes instruction, shared college dormitory accommodation, meals, and all social and cultural events on campus. Campers pay $90 for books and curriculum materials. Personal expenses are the camper's responsibility. A registration fee of $55 and a $400 tuition deposit are required at the time of application. As of March, the first installment of the tuition balance is also due with registration. Payment through the MMLA secure on-line payment page can be made only with MC or Visa.

Limited scholarships are offered for students demonstrating financial need. For consideration, please download a financial aid application, complete and return it (detailed instructions are on the form).
